Matt 5:8 - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Lord Jesus, thank you for cleansing me of the sin and stain that makes my heart impure. Only through faith in Christ, can I have a pure heart.
Now Lord, continue to show me daily how to live a life worthy of the calling. On my own, my flesh and darkness creep in. So show me how to die daily to myself and to pick up your cross and live for you. I am in awe of your love for me and cannot fathom your perfection. But I rejoice in it and praise you! Amen.
